Introduction:
The Stock Market Game presents an opportunity for students to learn by doing. The simulation by itself must be supplemented with learning opportunities and a willingness to reflect on decision to really be an effective learning tool. It is imperative that a new investor learn that it is almost impossible to time the market, although many believe you can. There are strategies that will help allow an investor to manage his/her investments regardless of the market circumstances.
Overview:
This week's activities are designed to help you apply your learning in a stock market game. This opportunity will allow you to learn as you go. You will make investment decisions and reflect on the quality of that choice. You will also learn practical strategies that you can use as an investor.
These activities are designed to take 30 minutes or less per day; the equivalent of 2.5 hours for the week. Please communicate with me if you are having difficulties or are feeling overwhelmed. I've got your back in all of this...I PROMISE.
